FIrst week of the Pleasure Diet

       Well, I am thrilled to announce that the Pleasure Diet Pilot Group began yesterday.   84 women are participating in this giant experiment to see what happens when we all become aware of the pleasures all around us and allow ourselves to enjoy them. 

Although the group is full, you can participate on your own by reading the books we are using and doing the "homework" assignments.

So far, we are using 2 books:
"Mama Gena's School of Womanly Arts" by Regena Thomashauer
"Healthy Pleasures" by David Sobel and Robert Ornstein

And our "homework" is to look for pleasure all through the day.  Notice smells, sights, sounds, textures, tastes that give you pleasure.  They are all around you if you look.

Then keep a journal or list of what gives you pleasure.  We will use that list next week to start adding pleasures into your day.
